Kick-off Call | Call #1

Our introductory call 

Action Items to address before our next call:

1. Send me what you have so far inside Honeybook as far as pricing, brochures, and templates so that I can potentially give some direction and ideas

2. Continue to fine-tune your brand values. So far we have "loved" (valued, respected, seen, safe, taken care of) 

3. Your three brand words are: Soul, Story, and heart . write out what that means to YOU and what it means to your CLIENT. It has to matter to both us and to our clients. How does it benefit them? How are you putting these words into action when it comes to photography?

4. Consider adjusting the black block in your logo and make the main line of text 1 font. 

5. Do you have plans to start a blog for creating regular content? Does your website provider allow blogging?

6. Download Planoly + bring in some photos you plan to post to Instagram

7. Start tracking your stats for both social media posts and for your leads. Write down when you get a lead. Where they come from. If they reply. If they get on a consultation call. and then if they book. This will help us to know what marketing and what relationships are yielding the most clients. 

7. I challenge you to show your face on social media. As your profile photo. Behind the scenes while working, or whatever makes sense. :) People are working with you, not your logo!!

Action Items:

1. Remove any menu navigation tabs that are redundant or not needed, move "about" page close to the home button. 

2. Add white space at the bottom footer and some location based information on your business

3. Watch the styled shoot video series I Sent over 

4. Send me your blog post topics and drafts are you have them available 

5. Create a Pinterest board for your micro weddings/pandemic weddings, get your website verified through pinterest, and create a template for your vertical pinerest pin graphics that you will create for each blog post you publish. 

6. Be thinking about possible models for your styled shoot 

7. Consider attending a paid styled shoot event or workshop to build portfolio. Are these available in your area? Google this.

 

Coaching call #3

1. Send me your website once you publish

2. Send me your blog topics as you have them

3. List your business on the free sites I shared with you

4. Keep posting to instagram consistently and be sure to post images of YOU

5. Are you happy with your current headshots? IF not, schedule new ones (maybe swap with another photographer) 

6. Post to your business FB page 2-3 times this week. And be sure to share your new website when that goes live as well . 

7. Keep thinking about your next styled shoot and where you would submit. 

 

Coaching call #4 | Wrap Up

  1. Create a Blog writing template and blogging checklist for yourself
  2. Create graphics/templates for each of these 5 things: Instagram feed, instagram stories, Fb Feed, Pinterest, and Blog featured image
  3. Make some Instagram stories and then save them as highlights
  4. Follow up with wedding venue for the tour and possible styled shoot collab
  5. Set a final date for a styled shoot for April 2021
  6. map out your client journey and workflows inside HB
  7. Be sure your pinterest profile has your website verified
  8. Brand Evaluation

 

Instagram: For your instagram bio, I would like to see your brand words incorporated into the text. the text limit os 150 characters and you will want to leverage as much of this as possible - making sure to highlight your location, style, and can you add your location to the bottom as a clickable location instead of using the bio text?

Blog: NA

Facebook: Change image to your head shot, love the image you chose for your header

Pinterest: Create boards that will be key word optimized to your business and brand like location based boards, topic based boards, etc. Create a template for your pinterest graphics as well.
